Quick & Easy Wedding Shower Card

My mom comes into my room the other day and asks if I can make a card for a wedding shower gift. Well, the shower is that day, so I don't have a whole lot of time for something really elaborate. We happened to make a quick run to Micheals and I saw this and thought it would look GREAT on a card:

First thing I did was cut an 8x11 white cardstock piece into half (hamburger style). Then folded it. Now I have a 4x5 1/2 card.

Then I cut a piece of scrapbook paper just a little bigger than the card (to ensure no white shows). Then glued it to the card.

I applied the sticker to the card...

I thought about leaving it like that, but decided it needed a little more. So I printed out the words "Bride to Be" on cardstock, cut it out, applied little crystal things, and then used those raised adhesive things (yea, love my terminology, huh).

Then we just wrote our "congrats" stuff inside, popped that puppy into an envelope, and we were set to go. It took no time at all and it has that "handmade touch".

That's very cute! I just made a card today. I'm starting to get more into the card-making thing.

Very very cute! I just love it. (of course, there are cute shoes--what's not to love?!)
