From Bandaid Boxes to Giftbags

So the other day, I used the last bandaid in my bandaid box. Yes, my mom buys me camo bandaids because I'm such a "trooper" :) I was just about to toss it in the trash when I got and idea!

First I cut off the top flap from the box.

Then I cut a piece of cardstock paper (the same paper I used for my DIY Ruler!) to go all the way around and give me some overlap space.

I mod-podged the paper to the box and folded it like wrapping a present on the bottom. I also gave the whole thing a coat of Mod-Podge.

Then I cut some ribbon to make a handle and punched small holes in the side, slipped the ribbon in, and tied the holes inside the box.

And now it's finished!

It was SUPER easy to make and took no time at all. I did get a little impatient waiting for the Mod-Podge to dry, but, I do lack some certain patience skills. Anyways, it's the perfect size for gift cards, jewelry, or even just some candy! Valentine's Day is coming up so this would make a great last minute gift bag! You could totally spruce it up with embellishments, glitter, stickers, whatever you want!

Oh, and speaking of Valentine's Day... Are you looking for some great and unique gifts? Dana over at Saturday Mornings has been featuring some AWESOME gift ideas this month! Be sure to head on over HERE and check them out!
