9/12 Spotlight Sunday and BLOG HOP

It's Sunday again! And that means another SPOTLIGHT SUNDAY!

Today I want you to meet my new friend Cindy over at Purple Froggie Clay Stuff. She works with Polymer Clay (something I could NEVER do because it takes a lot of creativity and skill!). But let Cindy tell you more about herself...

My name is Cindy, my new buddy Courtney over at Not So Homemade asked me to write a bit about lil ole me.

Where to start.. I am a wife of 16 years to a husband with Asperger’s Syndrome, a mother to a son who just turned 15, also with Asperger’s Syndrome. A daughter to two of the most wonderful parents and a sister to an equally wonderful best friend of a sister!

I enjoy cooking and baking as well as crafting.

I got started in crafting a while back, but only just a dabble here and there, back in the early 90’s it was putting puff paint and appliqu├ęs on T-Shirts. Then it was nothing for a long time, until December of 2009 when I saw a TV show on Polymer clay over at HGTV. I thought… I’m going to try that, didn’t think much of it.. Got a pasta machine and a few blocks of clay and BAM! I was hooked, when I saw all the neat things that can be created!

Here are a few things I have created with Polymer clay.

One of my favorite foods… I just had to create it in Polymer clay… California rolls and Tamago Sushi. This is a necklace.

Makin’ the grade.. Polymer clay style! One of my sisters-in-law is a Teacher, so I created these pencils and graded papers for her. The graded papers are made from Polymer clay and of course the pencils are also. Turned out quite nice, I think she will like them.

So that’s what occupies my time these days. That… and the fact that I have now become a compulsive Blogger! I’m sure some of y’all can relate to that one??

Thank you for taking time to read about me and make sure to show Courtney some love by following her blog. Feel free to come check me out over at Purple Froggie Clay Stuff

Thank you, Courtney for featuring me on Spotlight Sunday!

Here's a few more of her creations that I LOVE:

Aren't these candy corn earrings adorable? Perfect for the upcoming fall season!

And this candy corn necklace would go great with the earrings! I really love candy corn... can you tell? Makes me want to go out and buy some now! And as much as the earrings look like real candy corn, you can't eat them ;)

Oh and check this out!

Would you believe this beautiful stone is made with Polymer Clay and PEPPER? What a great and creative idea!

Be sure to check out her blog! She also has an Art Fire page where she sells some of her wonderful creations! Check it out HERE!
